Diffuse Control
The artist who changed the digital art market explores themes of technology, power, and control in an extended exhibition designed for NODE's architecture.
Exhibition Concept
Diffuse Control marks Beeple's first major institutional exhibition following the historic $69M Christie's sale of "Everydays: The First 5000 Days." This body of work explores the intersection of AI-generated imagery, surveillance capitalism, and the erosion of authentic human expression.
Building on his daily practice—now spanning over 17 years—Beeple presents new works created specifically for NODE's LED architecture. The exhibition interrogates how diffusion models and generative AI are reshaping creative labor and cultural production.
NODE's scale allows Beeple's characteristically dense, maximalist compositions to achieve new impact. Visitors will experience his critique of tech dystopia at architectural scale.
The Artist
American digital artist known for his "Everydays" project—creating one artwork every day since May 1, 2007. His work combines 3D rendering, social commentary, and pop culture references into dense, often provocative compositions.
The March 2021 Christie's auction of his NFT made Beeple the third most valuable living artist at auction and brought mainstream attention to the digital art market.
